  • Easy just complete the Eligibility Form and then fill in the Wheelchair Passenger Form. Please note no membership fees apply.

  • All reservations must be made via our online Zingly reservation request form.

  • As we are a charitable organisation, our services are solely dedicated to people with mobility difficulties. We want to ensure all our vehicles are available to people with mobility difficulties and their families.

  • Please complete our eligibility form and ensure the wheelchair passenger’s GP signs and stamps the form.

    If a resident is in a nursing home, please complete our eligibility form and ensure the DON, CNM or Nurse in Charge signs and stamps the form.

  • Yes the nominated driver(s) are covered under our insurance on all rental vehicles however the nominated driver(s) must hold a full valid and current national driver’s license for over 3 years and must be aged between 21 – 70 years of age.

  • Due to the terms and conditions of our fully comprehensive insurance on our wheelchair accessible rental cars, only nominated drivers that are aged between 21 – 70 can drive our vehicles.

  • Our rental cost includes full insurance (subject to excess of €350) for two nominated drivers aged between 21 – 70 years old.

    Daily Rate: €60 (Monday to Friday only, no daily rental at weekends)

    Weekend: €150 (Friday afternoon to Monday morning)

    Bank Holiday: €150 special rate (Friday afternoon to Tuesday morning)

    Weekly: €350

    4 Week Period: €1,200

  • All rentals must be paid for in advance via Credit / Debit card.

  • We have 2 depots and both are based in North Dublin.

    Our main depot is based in Harmonstown, Dublin 5, D05 AY07. It is easy accessible via the DART and the 27A bus.

    Our second depot is based in Swords, Co Dublin K67E50. It is easy accessible via The Swords Express and buses 33, 33A, 33B, 41C, 43 cover the area.

  • Unfortunately both our depots only operate from Monday – Friday between the hours 9am – 5pm. We are closed every weekend and every bank holiday therefore we are unable to facilitate rental car collections or returns on these days.

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate delivery / pick-ups from Dublin Airport. All rental cars must be collected and returned to our Zingly Rental Car Depots.

  • Our wheelchair accessible rental cars are either (depending on availability):

    • Peugeot Expert Tepee (Manual Drive) which holds 5/6 Seated (including Driver) plus 1 Wheelchair Passenger

    • Peugeot Rifter (Automatic Drive) which holds 4 Seated (including Driver) plus 1 Wheelchair Passenger.

  • All our wheelchair accessible cars are fully adapted for 1 wheelchair passenger only.

  • Our wheelchair accessible rental cars are not fully adapted for wheelchair drivers' only for wheelchair passengers.

  • All reservations must be made via the online reservation request form

    Once Zingly confirms availability, reservations will be held for 48 hours. Reservations are not confirmed until payment is received.

    All rentals are subject to the availability of a suitable car. Rentals are made available on a first-come, first-served basis.

    All rentals are subject to fully completed documentation for nominated drivers being submitted (online) and approved (by us) prior to rental car pick-up.

  • All Rentals must be paid for in advance via Credit/Debit Card.

  • Zingly is open Mon-Fri, 9 am-5 pm only. Cars can only be collected and returned during these hours.

    The main nominated driver at collection will be required to sign the Rental Agreement and present a driver’s license.

    At return, the Main Nominated Driver is required to sign off the Rental Return Form.

    All rentals are subject to fully completed documentation for nominated drivers being submitted (online) and approved (by us) prior to rental car pick-up.

    Please note that our Depots do not have any parking facilities for renter’s private cars.

  • The Person who signs the Rental agreement & all Nominated Drivers undertake to:

    Possess the current relevant driving licence. Not allow the vehicle to be driven by persons not authorised in the Rental Agreement.

    Only use the rental car throughout the Island of Ireland (including Northern Ireland).

    Respect the Rules of the Road and any legal provisions governing transport and road safety.

    Respect regulations covering the use of the Disabled Drivers Parking Permit provided.

    Not drive when physically incapable due to the consumption of alcohol, drugs or other narcotic substances, or due to tiredness or illness.

    Not to transport Pets/Livestock except in the case of permitted service dogs (working animals).

    Respect the No Smoking Policy in Zingly rental cars.

    Preserve the general good repair of the vehicle. Not to use the vehicle to tow other vehicles or take part in races, competitions or challenges of whatsoever nature. Not drive on unpaved roads that are not appropriate for traffic and which may cause damage to the underside of the bodywork.

    Not use the Rental Car for Hire or Reward

  • All nominated drivers are required to complete the Nominated Driver Registration Form in advance.

    Aged 21-70 years of age

    All drivers must hold a full (non-restricted) valid and current national driver’s licence for over 3 years (For all Non-European Union renters whose driver’s licenses are not issued in roman script, an International Driving Permit (IDP) or an official translation is mandatory. The IDP translates the national driver’s licence into various languages and is not accepted without the national licence.)

    Have never had an endorsement on your licence

    Have never been disqualified from driving. (including for penalty points offences)

    Have fully advised Zingly of any disability or medical condition that impairs your ability to drive.

    All rentals are subject to fully completed documentation for nominated drivers being submitted (online) and approved (by us) prior to rental car pick-up.

    Important Notice: Failure to disclose any details that fall outside the requirements above could result in an insurance claim being declined and insurance coverage invalidated. If, for any reason, you are in doubt, please contact Zingly.

  • In addition to the main rental charge, Zingly reserves the right to recover the costs associated with a booking.

    Replacement of lost vehicle equipment, including keys.

    All Unpaid Road Tolls, Fines and legal costs resulting from traffic offences or infringement of legislation by the driver/drivers.

    Vehicles will be provided with fuel and should be returned with the tank at the same level. Failure to do so will result in an additional penalty charge of €25.00 per quarter tank of fuel.

    Vehicles returned excessively dirty (including sand, mud, soiling internally, animal shedding, cigarette odour etc.) will incur a €150.00 cleaning charge.

    We provide a 30-minute period of grace for the return of the rental car with regard to the agreed time. After this period, an extra amount corresponding to at least €60.00 (one day’s rental) will apply for a late return.

  • Where applicable to the rental car and passengers, insurance cover is provided by Zingly under the following conditions.

    An accident /damage excess of €350.00. The renter is liable for all damage up to €350.00.

    A maximum of two Nominated Drivers is allowed. Additional Nominated Drivers are only allowed subject to agreement with Zingly directly. Please note an additional cost may apply for additional drivers.

    Only Nominated Drivers are insured on Zingly accessible rental cars.

    It does not cover the damage, loss or theft of the Member’s or passenger’s personal belongings in the interior of the vehicle.

    It does not cover damages if the vehicle is not used in accordance with the Zingly Rental Terms & Conditions or, in the event of an accident not being reported to Zingly.

  • All rental cars are covered by 24-hour AA Breakdown assistance. In case of a mechanical breakdown, contact should be made directly with the AA recovery service as specified on the card located in the rental car.

    All breakdowns & accidents must be reported to Zingly on the emergency number (01-9602221) as soon as possible.

    In the event of an accident or breakdown that cannot be dealt with by the AA or their agents and where the vehicle has to be taken out of service, Zingly cannot guarantee a replacement vehicle.

    In the event of an accident or breakdown Zingly will not provide any compensation towards additional costs experienced by the driver and passengers (e.g. food, accommodations, alternative transport or any other costs).

    Regardless of the nature of any accident (major/minor), the Renter is required to complete a full accident report form when returning the rental car.

  • Zingly reserves the right to track all rental cars using a Global Positioning System (GPS)
